Schools Facilitator (Animation) Needed

The Wac Arts Schools team is looking for an experienced Animation Facilitator to lead a 6-week after-school Animation programme at one of our West London non-mainstream partner schools. You will engage an enthusiastic group of 11-16 year olds in a series of dynamic workshops introducing them to the fundamentals of Animation. The young people will learn a range of Animation techniques and styles, the programme culminating in a celebration of their work in the final week of the project.

Wac Arts provide select equipment for use in these sessions, including iPads and craft materials. 

Confidence in planning and delivering accessible and inclusive sessions for young people with mild to moderate levels of need is essential.

Job Title: Schools Facilitator – Animation

Location: Fulham, West London.

Salary: £45 per hour on a freelance basis (£315 for the full project) = 6 practical workshops and 1 additional planning hour.

Reports to: Creative Producer

Agreement type: Freelance

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience planning and delivering workshops and activities for young people aged 11-16.
  • Confidence in planning and delivering accessible and inclusive sessions in non-mainstream settings.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of Animation.
  • Enhanced DBS.
