On Sunday 8th December Wac Arts celebrates another landmark in its incredible history. We will be marking an amazing 35 years of providing fantastic performing arts training with a 35th year Birthday Party.
Friends and supporters are all invited to join us for this very special presentation of drama, movement and song. Current students will perform with celebrated alumni to ensure a Birthday Party to remember. The evening even comes complete with birthday cake and party bags to take home! But this wonderful event isn’t just about the performance – the bar stays open after the show for mingling and meeting up with Wac Arts friends. We hope everyone will join us for our special Birthday party and have a great time!
Amongst our many special qualities, we believe longevity sets us apart from the mainstream. Way back in 1978, Senior Wac Arts first opened its doors to students one Sunday afternoon in Kentish Town, north west London. And now, an amazing 35 years later, Wac Arts has moved up the hill to Belsize Park, is open seven days a week and provides unparalleled performing arts training to young people from five to twenty five.
Through the Aspire programmes, our reach extends across Europe and yet Wac Arts remains true to its roots. We continue to provide affordable and accessible, inclusive arts activities for young people who might not otherwise be able to benefit from the uplifting and empowering role it can play.
We very much hope you can join us to celebrate the tenacity and determination of Wac Arts to survive over the last 35 years and to continue to provide for all our young people long into the future!
