Wac Arts are delighted to be working with Masters students from the Royal College of Music to deliver a brand-new creative composition project for young people in Camden and the surrounding areas. The project will bring together like-minded young musicians for weekly workshops exploring creative approaches towards composition at Wac Arts.
We are looking for young people aged 14 – 18 years old with an interest in composition and collaboration to take part in a series of weekly workshops at Wac Arts. Under the guidance of RCM composer Morten Yu participants will explore the theme of People, Purpose and Place to create their own responses which will be recorded and played as soundscapes during the Wac Arts Schools Festival in May. We also hope to host an informal sharing of the work created during the final session in March.
