Celebrating our Community Fundraiser of the Year 2025

As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, we wanted to acknowledge those who go out of their way to champion Wac Arts and introduce new people to our legacy.

Just over a year ago, Chloe Briens started volunteering on our Wac Nites project, Urban Motivation, for children and young people with mild to moderate special education needs and/or disabilities. Chloe supported Wac Arts’ Creative Facilitators to deliver drama and music activities, leading up to a public performance.

Chloe built a strong rapport and relationships with the participants, driven by the value and importance of the project, Chloe chose to launch her own Fundraising initiative.

Throughout the academic year, whilst studying for her own exams, Chloe raised £2,215 for Wac Arts. She fundraised tirelessly of her own volition; we are so proud to award her with the Community Fundraiser of the Year award 2025.
