Camden Fringe Returns to Wac Arts
We’re thrilled to be welcoming the Camden Fringe back to Wac Arts this August, with an exciting programme of theatre, comedy, new writing and more. This year’s line-up includes the world premiere of a brand-new play alongside a fantastic selection of emerging and established artists.
Founded in 2006, the Camden Fringe is one of London’s most vibrant performing arts festivals, showcasing hundreds of productions across the city each summer. From drama and musicals to stand-up, cabaret, dance and spoken word, there’s something for everyone to discover.
Join us for unforgettable creativity, bold ideas and brilliant live performances.
“The Camden Fringe is vastly more ramshackle, DIY and ‘early career’ than its more famous Edinburgh equivalent. But we wouldn’t have it any other way: it’s a thoroughly loveable phenomenon that instils a sense of community and drive to London’s increasingly fragmented fringe scene. Also tickets are cheap as chips – dip in and support a little local art, and you might just come across an unexpected gem.”
Time Out, 2025
Mind the Güeco

unspoken
9 August 2026 – 13 August 2026
In a small 1989 apartment, two young men study a species of large blue butterfly that survives by destroying ant colonies. As they observe this quiet cruelty of nature, their own repressed desires begin to transform, leading them toward difficult choices.

killer career

Would you kill for a good HR package? She does…
Killer Career follows one woman’s accidental entry into professional assassination: the clients, the targets, the surprisingly stellar company welfare.
Dark comedy. Stage combat. Something for everyone, as long as everyone is fine with a little bit of murder.

How Do You Bury A Whale?
14 August 2026
How Do You Bury A Whale is an experimental documentary piece that digs into our relationship with those majestic and ephemeral marine lives that we trap in captivity. Weaving together archival materials, sonic experiments, and embodied poetic storytelling, we try to probe into the unfathomable death that haunts us forever.
Suitable for ages 12+
Damascus
14 August 2026 – 15 August 2026
Set in the relentless world of a professional kitchen, Damascus captures the heat, speed, and brutality of service. Where rigid hierarchies rule, head chefs command with near-tyrannical authority, and the brigade works under punishing conditions to keep the plates moving. Through physical theatre and ensemble storytelling, Damascus explores the culture of the kitchen: the balance of power between ranks, the diverse workforce behind the stove, and the human cost of surviving the pass.
Suitable for ages 16+
