Join us at Wac Arts for an exclusive 2.5-hour masterclass suitable for ages 14-21 with acclaimed actor Iola Evans, one of the UK’s most exciting talents. Curious about acting for screen? Great! Curiosity is key to working out what you’re actually interested in. It’s also essential for working well with others on a TV or film project. Join us in this workshop where we’ll explore the basics of working on a scene and performing on camera. You’ll also learn a little about how to work with a director and just what all those people on a film set are actually doing
Iola’s work includes lead roles in projects with Hulu, Warner Bros, ITV and Netflix and The National Theatre. She’s feels lucky to have found work in a competitive creative industry and hopes to share a couple of things she’s learnt along the way.
Catch Iola as Tanna Goff in the highly anticipated Disney + series, Washington Black, now streaming!
