An evening to get creative and support the arts
Wac Arts are offering the opportunity to get stuck in to an evening of pottery painting at 7pm on 15th January and 5th of February.
This is a fabulous chance to beat the January Blues or prepare for Valentines Day with your loved ones.
The evening sessions are for those aged 18+, and will be BYOB, based in the Atrium at Wac Arts, Old Town Hall.
For a more family friendly arrangement, we are offering a full day of pottery painting on 7th February – perfect for a half term treat for parents and children.
There will be two drop in blocks, from 10am-2pm and then 2pm-5pm. These sessions will be for those aged 3+.
We are hosting these special events in partnership with Your Creative Space to help raise funds for our Actors Company.
The Actors Company is a performing company for young people aged 16-30. The group are led by an experienced Drama and Theatre practitioner, exploring performance technique with set text. The group rehearse every Sunday to build their company ethos and individual acting skills.
We are fundraising to add value and experience to the course by adding theatre trips, headshots and workshops with industry professionals. This allows young people to engage with the creative industry and better understand the roles available in the career market.
