Hampstead Theatre & Wac Arts Writing Group

We are delighted to be partnering with Hampstead Theatre to launch a brand-new project exploring the role theatre can play in fostering positive intergenerational relationships. Together we will run a creative writing programme for young and older people culminating in a sharing at Wac Arts.

We are looking for 16 – 21-year-olds with an interest in creative writing to take part in a series of weekly sessions at Wac Arts. Under the guidance of writer and facilitator Dexter Flanders the group will explore themes of heritage, identity and culture to create a series of pieces that will be performed by professional actors as part of Wac arts 25th Anniversary Celebrations at the Old Town Hall.
