Train in the heart of London
Wac Arts is based in Belsize Park, London. We are just down the road from Camden Town, one of London’s most vibrant and creative areas and 10 minutes on the tube from the international capital of theatre– The West End.
Our city is world renowned for being one of the most multicultural and exciting places to live and study. London’s creative industries are buzzing with new talents and ideas and our course reflects the diversity of the modern, international industry.
We welcome students from all over the world, safe in the knowledge that three years spent training in London will be some of the most exciting of their lives.
Wac Arts is based in the Old Town Hall, a beautiful grade two listed building with a modern twist. The centre houses dance and drama studios, rehearsal rooms, a theatre space, recording studio, pilates suite, halls, study area, cafe and library; all of which you will use when studying on the diploma course.
Belsize Park is in one of London’s most picturesque locations, very close to the beautiful green spaces of Hampstead Heath. We are two minutes from the local tube and are served by numerous local busses. There are shops, banks, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity making studying with us convenient and pleasant.
In addition to your curriculum-based studies, we provide a range of extra activities to enrich your experience.
Throughout your time with us, Diploma students make regular trips to the theatre and are frequently involved in London-wide festivals. We run an exciting range of specialist master class sessions with visiting artistes and offer cultural exchange visits with Wac Arts’ European partners.
In recent years, the Wac Arts production of the Trinity College International Playwriting competition winning play, A Concrete Jungle full of Wild Cars by Mariama Ives-Moiba, was so well received that Trinity sponsored a week long run on Edinburgh Festival’s famous Royal Mile. Performing to rave reviews, this was an exciting and rewarding summer activity for all Wac Arts Diploma students involved.
