Audition Days

Before being accepted on the course you will need to take part in an audition process.

Please note applications are now closed for September 2018.


Audition process

The audition process follows three stages, commencing with workshops in each of the three art forms, solo presentations in each art form, followed by an interview.

Stage 1
Candidates will need to participate in workshops in all three art forms.

Stage 2
Candidates will deliver a solo in all three art forms, in line with the following requirements:
Drama solo: this can be any published speech or monologue that can be delivered ‘off the page’
Singing solo: a full song from any contemporary material (this can either be acapella or with a backing track) Dance solo: a maximum two-minute piece, with or without music.

Stage 3
Candidates will then be invited to interview.

Current Fees

Tuition fees for the full time Diploma course are £9,000 per year for UK/EU students and International student fees are £12,000 per year.

Fees are currently paid in advance on an annual basis, however, WA will willingly review requests for termly payments on a case by case basis.

Please note Wac Arts bursaries are about your ability to pay – all our admitted students have the ability to perform.

Bursaries now available from National Youth Arts Trust
NYAT Bursaries are granted to young people between the ages of 7 and 25 who are unable to access training opportunities in the arts due to their financial circumstances. There are three types of bursaries available: Dance, Music & Access Bursaries. Find out if you’re eligible to apply and download an application form here.

DADA Awards are not currently available to Wac Arts students for this course.
