Salary: Range £12.46 – £18.84 per hour (plus Holiday Pay) depending on experience
Duration: 3 month-12 month sessional contract
Hours: Between 4-12 hours per week (After school and Weekend)
We are looking for a number of dynamic, fun and adventurous individuals to join our Buddying and Transitions service. This service is aimed at disabled young people aged between 11 and 18. We link a ‘buddy’ with a disabled young person, to engage in shared hobbies and activities chosen by the young person, leading to a positive relationship being developed. As a Buddying and Transitions Tutor you will be paired with a young person and will work with them in the afternoon and/or on the weekend. You will be responsible for planning activities with them and supporting then to attend both in the community and at Wac Arts. We are looking for creative and well organized individuals with a background in performing arts or sport and the ability to work well 1:1 with young people.
