Tutors Needed

Our tutors guide young people to learn new skills in performing arts and creative media, whilst forming friendships, gaining confidence and exploring their creative potential. We currently deliver our programme of work on Saturday and Sunday with young people aged 5-26. Find out more about our Junior and Senior programme.

We are seeking skilled tutors with the ability to develop skills and inspire creativity in young people across the following areas:

1. Music Workshop – In these group sessions, children will work as a music ensemble to develop teamwork, listening, and performance skills.

2. Singing – Singing classes for children and young people start from nine years and up. Students sing as a group and there are opportunities to sing solo and in small groups so that individuals can progress at their own pace.

Sessions take place on Saturday and Sunday in term time as follows:

Saturday:

11:10 – 12:10 – Music Workshop (Ages 9+)

12:30 – 13:30 – Singing (9 – 12)

Sunday:

11:15 – 12:15 – Singing (14+)

12:30 – 13:30 – Advanced Singing (14+)

Tutors on Saturdays are paid £26.84 per hour, and Tutors on Sundays are paid £29.08. These rates include statutory holiday pay entitlement and are subject to deductions for tax and national insurance as appropriate. Sessional Tutors are paid in arrears, at monthly intervals directly into your bank account for work completed in the previous assignment(s).
