We have an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding performing arts practitioner to lead Wac Arts’ Learning and Participation programme of creative activities.
We are seeking an experienced learning and participation professional, to grow Wac Arts’ creative programme, including a new digital offer with ambitious reach.
The role involves some direct delivery, and the successful applicant must be an accomplished practitioner within one or more disciplines within the creative sector.
Working closely with the Director of Programmes, you will design and deliver a high-quality programme of creative activities for young people, aged 5- 26, and develop new post-26 and cross-generational activities. The role requires a high degree of cross-programme collaboration, to evolve and strengthen the charity’s inclusive provision and its internal and external progression pathways. This includes the integration of existing programme strands for neurodivergent young people and those with complex needs.
You must be passionate about the importance of high-quality arts provision with the ability to connect with and engage young people, artists and delivery partners.
The post requires regular work at weekends and occasional evenings. The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis. This role requires an enhanced DBS check and involves Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead responsibilities.
