As part of Wac Arts Interactive’s ongoing outreach programme engaging young people in inclusive technology and fun & friendship across the UK, we have been working with a group of talented Year 7s at Acland Burghley School in London. Over the past 5 weeks, young people have been working with Interactive to develop an original radio show, exploring the themes of one of their curriculum readings, Frankenstein the play. The group worked extremely hard on all aspects of the show, from planning the content and scriptwriting right through to recording the show and creating its jingles, demonstrating fantastic creativity and imagination in creating their own, unique TV show.

Wac Arts Interactive
Wac Arts Interactive is an exciting new media project, designed to get young people with mild to moderate disabilities out and about, making friends and having fun. Interactive sessions offer young people the opportunity to meet new friends, develop their skills in inclusive technology and to explore new possibilities. Through our outreach work the group share knowledge with young people at different organisations and work towards an online network of empowered young people with disabilities and professionals.
