On Thursday 29th October 2015, nine students auditioned for two Swarovski Foundation Scholarship Award. The award panel who were a selection of industry professionals were looking for three quality pieces in Dance, Theatre and Song performed by the potential award winners.
The Panel Members
Actor – Royal National Theatre, Films include: Trance, Penny Dreadful, The Oxford Murders.
Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Artist Development for: BBC, Sony, BMG, EMI, Virgin, Warner, Ministry Of Sound, Atlantic, Island.
Dancer / Choreographer – Ruby, Jesus 2000, Lion King.
Singer/ Dancer/Actor – Miss Saigon, Joseph and his Technicolor Dream coat, Five Guys Named Mo.
The panel were looking for specific qualities in each performance which included: clarity, power & pitch of voice, interpretation of lyric and music, confident delivery across all 3 disciplines
