Catch the latest new talent at the Wac Arts graduate shows! Our Diploma students celebrate their graduation with four  performances ahead of an exciting summer with their forthcoming Edinburgh Festival production in August.

An especially celebrated group, this year’s graduates have achieved particular recognition from the international examinations board, Trinity College. Their production of the prize-winning play, ‘A Concrete Jungle Full of Wild Cars’ by Mariama Ives-Moiba, was so well received that Trinity is sponsoring the production’s week long run on Edinburgh Festival’s famous Royal Mile.

For now however, the diversely based Diploma is firmly focussed on the comedy horror rock musical, Little Shop of Horrors. Their London audiences are treated to four shows with hilarious renditions of such ‘Horror’ classics as ‘Skid Row (Downtown)’, ‘Somewhere That’s Green’ and ‘Suddenly Seymour’. Do the cast get eaten by the amazing plant … or can its evil plan be thwarted? With fantastic costumes and lots of fun along the way this will be a great run for everyone!

Steve Medlin quotes “I am completely thrilled that our diverse and exciting students will be performing the cult musical ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. This riotous musical pastiche is bound to have you laughing and crying with the characters and their antics. This show shouldn’t be missed by anyone.”

This production is directed by Vik Sivalingam from the original books and lyrics by Howard Ashman with music by Alan Menken.
