Wac Arts Nites is an exciting evening club running on Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings from 6.00-8.30pm. The activities are for young people who want to meet new people and to do something interesting and different with their free time in the evenings.
Mainly designed for teenagers from 13-19 years, if you are very keen to take part, the projects are also available for young people from 11 years old, and up to the age of 25. For everyone, the emphasis is on opportunity, enjoyment and having fun!
What’s on offer
We offer a series of innovative arts and media activities in a stimulating leisure environment. Young people are encouraged to try out different activities throughout the year. Regular sessions include trampolining and drama, dance, singing and individual instrumental sessions are also offered.
Wonder Wac Arts After School Club (ages 11-17, 4-6pm)*
Music Technology (ages 16-24, 6.30-8.30pm)
Street Dance (ages 12-19, 6.30-8.30pm)
Trampolining (ages 13-19, 6.30-8.30pm)
Urban Motivation workshops for young people with learning disabilities (ages 18-25, 6.30-8.30pm)
Wac Arts Ignite (ages 12-18, 6.30-8.30pm)

Wac Arts Nites is designed to be flexible and responsive to its members needs so that activities can change to reflect interests. More fluid than the weekend Junior and Senior programmes, Wac Arts Nites presents opportunities for niche and specialist sessions if enough young people are keen!
We also include a range of activities specifically for young people with learning disabilities and other projects where young people of all abilities are able to work together. The result is an inclusive programme that encourages young people of all abilities to work together and have a great time!
